Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from traditional website search?

Traditional search relies on keywords. WebSpeaker is designed to answer questions using the content you have already published, so visitors can ask naturally and still find grounded answers, relevant pages, and source citations instead of a long list of search results.

Do I need to modify my website to try it?

No. You can register, add your website, and preview the full discovery experience without changing your site at all. Once you’re happy with how it works, you can install it in production with a single snippet.

What content can it search across?

By default, it indexes your entire website automatically. You can also extend it with PDFs, documentation, FAQs, or custom sources — turning all your content into one unified, searchable knowledge layer.

How long does setup take?

Just a few minutes. Add your website URL, customize the experience, and preview results right away. Going live in production is as simple as pasting one snippet — no developers or complex configuration required.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We only index content that is already publicly available on your web pages, along with any additional content you explicitly choose to share such as PDFs or documentation. We do not sell your data. We share it only with contracted service providers needed to deliver the service, such as hosting, analytics, and AI providers listed in our privacy and sub-processor pages. You remain in control of what gets indexed and can remove content at any time.

Does it support multiple languages?

Yes — visitors can search in their own language and still find relevant information, even if your website is written in just one. This works automatically, so you don’t need to translate your content to support a global audience.

Is Free a trial?

No. Free is a free-forever plan. Every account starts on Free, and paid plans only add more capacity for messages, projects, seats, and indexed pages.

When do I pay?

You only pay if you upgrade to a paid plan inside the app. Public registration always starts on the Free plan.

Who handles billing for paid plans?

Paid subscriptions are sold through our merchant-of-record billing provider. The merchant of record handles payment processing, taxes, and the sales documents associated with the transaction.

Do paid plans renew automatically?

Yes. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel future renewals from the billing portal.

What happens when I cancel?

Canceling stops future renewals. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account returns to the applicable lower-capacity plan.

How do refunds work?

Refund requests for the initial purchase may be available within 14 days in accordance with merchant-of-record policies and applicable law. Renewals are generally not refunded unless required by law.
